If you have ever been curious about what members of the USAF Special Operations community go through to be TOP performers under pressure, then this episode is for you!
This week I sit down with my badass husband, TSGT Austin Bicskei to talk all things mental performance within the special operations community.
Austin is a Tsgt in the USAF and works within the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) community. His job is to train pilots and air crew how to survive and evade being captured in survival situations.
He was recently named NCO (non-commissioned officer) of the year for his unit and is 1 of only 550 people within the SERE career field.
In this episode we discuss:

  • The role of mental fortitude under EXTREME pressure & what that actually looks like
  • How to use MINDFULNESS to harness your stress
  • Skills needed to overcome mental, physical and emotional barriers
  • How to push past pain and exhaustion when pushed to your limit
  • Benefits of building resiliency
