Hector is the co-founder of Unplugged, a startup on a mission to help people live happier lives by providing digital detoxes at beautiful off-grid cabins. The idea came about when Hector burnt out from working as an executive at a tech startup. This led him to a silent retreat in the Himalayas in September 2019. He came back feeling renewed and a week later he quit his job to start Unplugged with Ben, an old friend from the tech startup. Today Unplugged has 16 cabins across the UK with big plans for further expansion.
