Today, Dr. Lisa muses on topics that came up this week during her online coaching program. She shares some thoughts about the effectiveness of weight loss medication, about how much weight a person can expect to lose with lifestyle modification alone (according to the latest research)...And she discusses why we should stop treating medication for weight loss (like Wegovy, Zepbound, or Ozempic) as cheating, when it's far and away the most effective treatment we have to lower weight and reduce the risk of weight related health problems. Dr. Lisa also talks about making New Year's Resolutions fun, if you want to engage with them at all...And how to succeed with habit change by taking on TINY goals that you can meet every day. Also, a bit about how to talk to yourself, how to reset with love when you're off track, and how to find the mindset to run a mile a day, even when you're driving from Orlando to Chicago and have to do your run at a highway rest stop!
