We open the episode with our introducing the concept (and trigger warning) of recovering from anxiety attacks as well as depressive episodes. We discuss our experiences with anxiety attacks and the insight of clinical psychologist Lee Coleman, Ph.D and how you should have a low threshold for treatment. We also talk about Yvette Hess, an expressive artist and mental health advocate based in South Africa who highlights the power your illness can hold over you, and how your recovery is an opportunity for growth. At the end, we talk about personal things we use to recover from a rough day and make us feel better, and wrap it up with our ending segment: What’s in Your Guac?
