We continue with our guest, my new friend, Heather Ash Burroughs.

Heather and Homesteads for Hope help support, teach skills, and provide hope for those with special needs and for their families in collaboration with the community.

Connect with Heather Ash Burroughs
Heather earned a Masters of School Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is an autism specialist, currently serving as the Grants and Media Coordinator at Homesteads for Hope, a 55 acre community farm in New York in which people with disabilities learn, work, and live alongside other community members who volunteer and support the farm. She is the owner/CEO of Burroughs Empowerment Agency, Getting Healthy with Heather, and an independent certified Optavia Coach. She is the co-host of "Growing Purpose, Cultivating Inclusion," podcast and is writing a book, "Pardon me, but get the #! @*&% out of my way." Heather is married to Jim and together, they have 4 special needs children.
