Today, I want to provide you with an update for the Ponte Vedra Beach real estate market. I hope you can utilize this information to your advantage when you decide to buy or sell in the future.
At the end of February 2015, we had 10 months of inventory in our market, which made it a buyer's market due to increased inventory. At the end of March, we only had 6 months of inventory, which means that right now we're in a more neutral market that's not favoring buyers or sellers.
This is a wonderful time to sell your home because our local market is heating up, and homes are very affordable right now. I just checked the interest rates and for a 30-year conventional fixed loan the interest is only 3.625%! That is an incredible rate, and right now homes are more affordable than they have been in a long time. It's extremely nice to have the real estate market back in good condition after the last six or seven years of struggle. If you're looking to buy, now is the time to do so!
