A vaguely accurate summary:

This episode is a little different. We look at some of the science behind trauma and memory. It is by no means an exhaustive discussion, but it goes into a bit more than may be common knowledge. There are links here that will help follow along as we look at what areas of our brain are active during stress and trauma, what happens when we recall a traumatic event, and why it’s important to break the cycle of trauma.
