A few months after I stopped drinking, my life took an unexpected turn when my mother passed away and I was left to deal with deep, profound grief. This was when stoicism stepped in and started changing my perspective on the world, guiding me through my storms. It taught me to embrace adversity, to view hardships as opportunities for growth and resilience. I hope my story, seen through the lens of honesty and courage, inspires others to reassess their own coping mechanisms and possibly embrace healthier ones that will lead to a more fulfilling and beautiful life. We can rise above our challenges, and choose resilience, growth, and strength. We can do hard things! Also, this mommy wine culture mess is toxic poison and it worries me for us, and I talk a lot about that in this episode, too! Thanks for lounging with me, y'all!!
