This is the first episode of 2019 and on this episode we are doing an Ask The Trainer with my buddy, James Daws. James is a personal trainer, a powerlifter, a business owner, a gym manager, and he's an army veteran. He's experienced and knowledgable on training and nutrition. But for the first 30 minutes we talk about our love for hip hop music, how he got started in powerlifting, and the motivations we use in the gym and in everyday life. Then, I asked him a few questions that I frequently get asked. Like, when should you start bulking and when should you start cutting?, how to figure out your macronutrients, thoughts on Keto, and what strength programs are good to follow if you want to make some strength gains.
