"It is ALL achievable" - so says zoologist Izzie Eriksen as she chats to us about biodiversity, responsibility, fast fashion, the circular economy and her most recent venture, Apparel Xchange; 'a social enterprise dedicated to school uniform reuse', as well as raising awareness of the environmental, social and wider benefits of reducing, reusing and recycling.
We pay a visit too to Clyde Primary School and Mr Scott's P6 class as they question why their school lunches include at least 5-6 pieces of single-use plastic.
One of our guests from Episode 2, Paul Bradley of SCVO and the SDG Network Scotland, tells us why he thinks the recent upsurge of youth engagement is so positive and we hear from another of Glasgow's young Global Climate Strikers on what she's learnt over the last year and how she feels towards older generations.
This is the last episode in our first series - if you'd like to hear a second, help us spread the word: leave us a review, give us a rating, share, ReTweet, Like & tell your friends. It makes a huge difference - thank you!
You'll find Show Notes for this episode up on the WOSDEC website soon, with links and resources for everything mentioned in the show.
