As we wind down 2020, we hit a milestone in our very own subscription box business. On Dec 10th, my subscription box Louis and Léa, which I co-founded with my wife Christine, had it’s one year anniversary! Yay to us! And as it is custom to do on a birthday, we did celebrate of course, but maybe moreso, we paused and reflected on some of the lessons that either really helped us along our first year, or really slowed us down.

And believe me, there are no shortages of dumb things that I did, but the one thing to always remember is that although hard to swallow at the time of the mistake or setback, it’s key to remember that it isn’t necessarily a failure...IF...if you are able to learn from it and take something away from it to help you along going forward!
