In this episode, Dunn and Kianna share their experience at Wildwood Lifestyle Center, where they sought care to address diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia with natural remedies. They share their experience, including the schedule, treatment, classes, and other services they received at the center. One of the treatments to address Dunn's high blood pressure was a certain kind of herbal tea! We also discuss the importance of keeping a balance between conventional and alternative medicine, which are too often pitted against each other. This balanced approach is often referred to as complementary and integrative medicine. As patient advocates, we must emphasize the significance of treating body, mind, and spirit in medicine! Keeping a wholistic approach will always benefit patients in the long run.
