So today, we have with us Ben Cuncarr and Adrian Wilkinson from AVENSURE HR.
Now, AVENSURE is an HR service and product that's designed for small businesses. And if you don't know, there were some massive changes to HR in 2020, but they sort of went a bit under the radar because obviously, we had this little thing called Covid.
But those changes mean that if you haven't updated your policies since then, the chances are you are probably pretty much higher date in terms of your policies and procedures.
And we also delve into the fact that if you are an employer and you don't have any policies or procedures or anything in place, you're just opening yourselves up to #RISK that you really don't need.
BEEN THERE, DONE IT.
We once ended up in a situation where there was a disagreement, but we lacked a degree of policies and procedures to back ourselves up in terms of what we were gonna be able to do to rectify the situation.
So, Really delve in today and just get under the fact of HR is not a "reactionary" service. Ben highlights this within the interview as well.
It shouldn't be a reactionary #service. It should be something that you build into your business every day to reduce the risk profile of your business so you don't end up exposed unnecessarily.
