Advertising and marketing often don’t match what customers experience when interacting with brand teams on the ground. In this episode, Head of Group Digital Communications at Sasol, MJ Khan talks about how they ensure a seamless customer experience across their audiences.

As a seasoned industry thought leader, MJ Khan has experience in both brands and agencies, where he has influenced strategy. He talks about some of the ways that they collaborate with over 15 agencies that work with Sasol to ensure that they remain relevant and continually innovate.

With Sasol being a recognisable heritage brand that has many stakeholders, MJ says understanding and living up to the brand’s purpose and value are key in ensuring their messaging is relevant. He also lets us in on whether awards make an agency more attractive as a marketing or advertising partner.
