Based in San Francisco, she holds a Ph.D. in social anthropology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. As the Executive Director of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, she focuses on the protection of sacred plants and cultural traditions, while also serving as a Public Education and Culture Specialist at MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). Her work emphasizes the importance of reciprocity in the psychedelic community and supports various social justice initiatives.
