Immigration Resources for Families A Family Resource Toolkit is available to you in English and Spanish , and contains information and resources about rights, current DPS policies, training, mental health support, DPS resources, community resources and more. The toolkit is a comprehensive guide designed to assist families in creating personalized action plans in case of deportation or prolonged absence. It provides practical tools and advice on organizing critical documents, managing legal and financial matters, and developing communication strategies. Nominate a Student and Adult for the Asian Education Advisory Council Annual Award The Asian Education Advisory Council (AEAC) seeks to empower Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students in DPS by promoting positive AAPI identities and active engagement with their schools and communities. Every year, the AEAC recognizes DPS students, ECE-12th grade, who demonstrate positive AAPI identities. Nominations for the 2025 Awards are now open through March 10. For students in third grade and up, we ask that they submit a short essay about how elements of AAPI cultures have helped them be successful in DPS. Nominate an Adult | Nominate an AAPI Student 4. School-Based Mental Health Services Libby Malone and Cristina DeCuir-Delgado, nationally certified school psychologists, discuss the school-based mental health resources available for students at DPS.
