On this week’s episode of The DEEP Life we welcome back Meg Rudolph for her 3rd appearance. In previous conversations (episodes 63 & 123) we covered aspects of mental health such as trauma, stress, and anxiety. This week we go DEEP on a variety of topics and lean into the idea of stepping out of our comfort zone and allowing ourselves to change and evolve.

Change can be challenging and even scary, but at the same time it is a necessary part of the human experience because the things we want the most in life most often exist outside of our comfort zone.
In this conversation, we look at why change can be so challenging for so many of us. We explore codependency, both about other people as well as material things like food, money and career. We also talk about setting boundaries, relationship dynamics, family dynamics, and major life transitions like starting a new career, marriage, or becoming a parent for the first time as Meg recently experienced, and we explore value, labels, self-worth and other ways we identify ourselves and others look at.
Meg is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Connecticut & Georgia as well as a National Certified Counselor with experience working as a therapist in multiple treatment settings including community mental health, inpatient acute hospitalization, and substance abuse IOP. Meg has also spent a portion of her career in mental health leadership roles with a passion for supervising new clinicians. Meg’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental disorders.
