006: Disassociate From Drama

What do we do when plans go awry, things happen that frustrate us over which we seemingly have no control and how do we disassociate from the drama while not denying our feelings? How do we keep up as things seem to be moving so fast? Or do we simply have to decide what is REALLY important, stop the old thinking / analysis habits and allow everything to be filtered through the heart?
Today we talk about how our Higher Self chooses 'drama' so that we can really get clear on what we want by knowing what we DON'T want.
This is known as Clarity Through Contrast.
And we also explore 'victim consciousness' - that state which people are in when they believe they have had no part in attracting their circumstances and wonder, "Why me?" Or "Why is this happening TO me?".... utterly disempowering questions guaranteed to always create a negative response and make us feel even more paralyzed and powerless.
In this week's podcast Karen and I have to "let go and let God!" as we decide to modify our plans for this call and head in an altogether direction, while at the same time keeping aligned with our underlying desire to provide support and healing during turbulent times! Karen gives us a real life situation from her day and tells us how she was able to watch what was going on in "Shakespeare's Theater to Entertain" and shows us how she was able to disassociate from her drama!
Remember we are all mirrors for each other and your challenges are also ours sometimes! We're all human and it helps to remember that rather than beat ourselves up, eh?
But to help Karen arrive in her body and settle into the show, we began with a relaxing meditation which I promised to give the script for in this blog post, so here it is! Hope you found it helpful.
Meditation is a HUGE key to maintaining our composure when we 're in the midst of the "drama for the day" and just about every New Age teacher and healer recommends its practice as a top way of maintaining premium emotional, physical and spiritual health.
