This episode we’re joined by Claire Shih, of UCL’s Centre for Translation Studies, to talk about her work on what’s going on in the translator’s mind as they work, and particularly her recent research into how translators use search engines.

Dr Claire Shih is Associate Professor in Translation and Interpreting Studies at UCL’s Centre for Translation Studies and has been lecturing in the UK for more than 20 years. Her research focuses on translators’/interpreters’ behaviour, cognition and emotion.
