We discuss how important it is to solidify breath and centeredness in the world. We do pick up other people's feelings, as well as having our own. It is important to learn to distinguish which is us and which is not us. Doing an internal assessment every 20 -30 minutes might be helpful. Returning to one's center to ask 'what is the truth of this moment' may bring better choices.
We also talk about the Hal' - a momentary shift of awareness into the next Maqam; and the Maqams are not solid but as we flex and learn, we attain new insights that change our point of view.
