Choosing to stay in your comfort zone as a performer can be extremely harmful to you and your career in the entertainment industry. Think of how many jobs you are leaving on the take because you choose to play it safe in your audition versus getting uncomfortable and showing your true vulnerability.
It sucks to be uncomfortable, but when you can find ways of pushing past that discomfort and you learn from every audition you do, then you are preparing yourself for your future as a working professional in the industry.
Stop worrying about what the Casting Directors want and making your audition perfect. You are perfect as you are. You just need to get comfortable with being UNCOMFORTABLE!
