How do you really know when it's time to let go of your dream?
To let go of a person?
To let go of a belief?
When it leaves your heart.
This is a 3-minute poem to help you see that you are the gardener of your own life and it is your work to midwife what longs to come into this world and the reaper of what needs to go.
Prompts you may wish to ask yourself after:
- what are the reasons I keep justifying that this idea/dream/person should stay?
- what else could enter my life if I let this/them go?
- what could I spend my emotional energy on instead?
