He lived in Haiti until he was 10, then moved to New York, where he witnessed the tragic events of 9/11. Inspired, Jay joined the military in 2003, eventually becoming a Green Beret with 14 years in Special Operations. Now, he runs The Green Beret Chronicles, guiding future Special Operators and training civilians.
