BIO

James is an experienced psychotherapist and supervisor. He specialises in working with boys and men in developing emotional fitness. He works in a busy private practice and school. He has authored ‘The Secret Lives of Men – Ten Keys to unlock the Mystery’ based on working with thousands of men individually and in groups. James trains therapists in working effectively with men and is an engaging and passionate speaker. For the past 20 years James has created anger awareness groups for men called ‘SHOUT’, developed ‘Circles of Men, and ‘CONTACT’ which is a rite of passage programme for boys. He facilitates workshops and retreats for men on issues such as anger, shame, intimacy, and emotional fitness. James has been part of a Men’s group for the past 20 years and lives in Nottingham with his family.
