3. Hnedé medvede sú silné, rýchle a zvyčajne sa ľuďom vyhýbajú. (Brown bears are strong, fast, and usually avoid humans.)

4. Nauč sa čítať reč tela medveďa. (Learn to read bear body language.)

5. Postavenie na zadné nohy znamená zvedavosť, nie agresiu. (Standing on hind legs means curiosity, not aggression.)

6. Výpad je často len varovanie. (Lunging is often just a warning.)

7. Zachovaj pokoj, neutekaj ani nekrič. (Stay calm, don’t run or scream.)

8. Hovor ticho a pomaly cúvaj. (Speak softly and back away slowly.)

9. Nikdy medveďa nekŕm. (Never feed a bear.)

10. Pri útoku sa tvár mŕtvy; pri hnedých medveďoch.( If attacked, play dead; for brown bears).

11. Najlepšou obranou je sprej proti medveďom. (Bear spray is the best defense.)

12. Problémového medveďa nahlás na tiesňovú linku alebo správe parku. (Report problem bears to emergency lines or park services.)

13. Nahlasovanie netreba, ak sa medveď správa prirodzene a uteká. (Don’t report if the bear behaves naturally and flees.)

14. Naučme sa bezpečne žiť s medveďmi. (Learn to live safely with bears.)

15. Buďte ostražití! (Be alert!)
