The ice and snowmageddon has kept us indoors away from the podcast studio. Lindsey and I are recording remotely and because the studio is in the middle of the woods, we have poor internet quality. Apologies ahead of time for that.
Welcome to the Lace Up and Run Podcast. We believe in a fun and active lifestyle with a primary focus on running and hiking. There is a supply of bourbon in the podcast studio so there is pretty much a guarantee there might be some of Kentucky's finest consumed during the show.
Lindsey and I recap the annual River to River Runners Awards Banquest. Congrats Lindsey on receiving the Female Athlete of the Year Award.
We also learned that there is a new Race Director for the Southern Illinois River to River Relay. Kylo Orso is taking over for Brad Dillard and Kyle is determined that there will be a relay in 2022!
