For years, I believed my past disqualified me. I thought my mistakes, my upbringing, even my ADHD brain made me less-than. And more recently, I’ve faced health challenges that left me wondering if I could still lead, teach, and serve the way I wanted to. But here’s what I’ve learned: those exact things—my quirks, my struggles, the parts of me I used to hide—are what make me relatable, believable, and powerful. They are what qualify me.
