Managing Thyroid Related Anxiety, Worry Loops, and Insomnia - Nicki’s Story

In this episode, we hear from Nicki who was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was struggling with anxiety and insomnia. She had been working for over a year with Dr. Eric Balcavage, a functional medicine thyroid expert.
Nicki had lingering thyroid symptoms, anxiety around her health and her son's health, and racing thoughts that kept her up at night. She wanted to reduce her autoimmune thyroid antibodies and her anxiety.
"I'm so glad that I took the leap because I've been working with doctors trying to heal for 3 or 4 years. And everything that I've done has kind of chipped away, but this has been the fastest."
Advanced neural retraining sessions helped her to relax and the effects were very noticeable emotionally, mentally, and physically.
After a few months of sessions, Nicki was much more relaxed. She no longer had anxiety bursts. Her mind was quieter, and she was sleeping through the night.
Nicki found neural sessions helpful for creating more mental space so that she could appreciate her life and have more bandwidth for new interests and initiatives. And she was able to make a big decision on an issue that had been very stressful for her for some time.
