కవి, రచయిత, అనువాదకులు శ్రీనివాస గౌడ్ చీరాలలో జన్మించారు. ప్రస్తుతం హైదరాబాద్ లో నివాసం. నిఇప్పటిదాకా ఎనిమిది కవితా సంపుటాలు, ఒక అనువాదం, ఈ మధ్యనే 'మార్జినోళ్ళు' అనే కథల పుస్తకం తీసుకవచ్చారు. వీరి సంపాదకత్వంలో ప్రకాశం జిల్లా రచయితలు రాసిన కథలతో 'కథాప్రకాశం' అనే సంపుటం వెలువడింది. తన రచనలకు ఫ్రీవర్స్ ఫ్రంట్, గిడుగు కవితా పురస్కారం, ఇంకా అనేక అవార్డులను గెలుచుకున్నారు. ప్రత్యేక అవసరాలు గల పిల్లలకు ఉపాధ్యాయులుగా పని చేసి, ప్రస్తుతం నిర్మాణ రంగంలో వున్నారు.ఈ సంవత్సరమే మరికొన్ని అనువాదాలు రానున్నాయి.
