On this weeks episode i had the pleasure of talking to Matt Morris about his sobriety journey. Matts story is so different to all the other guests I've had on the podcast as he never really had a "rock bottom" moment.
We talk about football drinking culture, being in a relationship with someone who still drinks and how most "Blokes" bond over a beer. Matt also works in finance in the city which is an industry known for boozy lunches and thirsty Thursday after work beers. He talks about how he has navigated his way around some of the challenges he has faced and what he does with his clients now.
Matt is a great example that you can just stop drinking purely because you don't enjoy what it does to you and you want to reach your full potential.
