Too many people relinquish responsibility for their learning. Sometimes this happens before they leave school.
This places people in a dangerous situation where their learning is handed to an employer. What if your employer doesn't develop you properly.
Good employers will provide you with opportunities to develop.
Treat those opportunities as a BONUS.
