As someone who suffered from severe acne, I truly understand the anxiety of having to face the world. This is where skincare saved my and others' lives: ensuring skin health alongside mere peace as a ritual. But the skincare world is so complex and can be overwhelming, with hundreds of brands and products. Many opinions and tips also fly around the web from different experts and critics. We are joined today by renowned skincare and beauty writer Jude Chao, also known as Fiddy Snails, the words behind the blog Fifty Shades of Snail, which receives over 150,000 monthly views, digital marketing director of skincare company Holy Snails, founder of Love, Jude Skincare sheet masks, and author of the 2021 book "Skincare for Your Soul." Jude is truly a jumpstarter, being one of the first to tie skincare with self-care with her 2015 essay "How My Elaborate Korean Skincare Routine Helps Me Fight Depression," which appeared on Fashionista.
