On this episode of Food Allergy Talk, I welcome Dr. Hoyt of the Hoyt Institute of Food Allergy.

Dr. Hoyt is a board certified allergist who leads the Institute, and has a husband that has food allergy.

She has been practicing academic, evidence-based medicine for over a decade. Prior to medical school, she earned a degree in nutrition, so she is well versed in navigating the complexities of food allergies.

She then completed training and earned board-certifications in internal medicine, pediatrics, and allergy & immunology.

Today we will discuss with Dr. Hoyt immunotherapy, often referred to as OIT or Oral Immunotherapy. The pros, the cons, and answer the question – is there a cure for food allergy?
