Today, I'm joined by Alan Lazaros, a seasoned self-improvement expert, to discuss the concept of leveling up in life. He, with a partner, runs Next Level University, which encompasses a podcast, courses, a large community, and more.
Alan shares his personal journey of overcoming numerous challenges, from losing his father at a young age to experiencing a near-fatal car accident, and how he utilized these experiences to fuel his success.
Our conversation highlights the importance of taking one level at a time, the role of humility and gratitude, and the path to achieving both external success and internal fulfillment. It also includes the way race is being used as an excuse or to blame, as well as understanding our limitations.
The best part of this episode, in my opinion, is that Alan shares how our life is like a movie. Specifically, he calls on us to watch the movie of our life again, as if watching a children's movie as an adult, and finding all of the deeper meanings that you missed when you were growing up.
