This episode the combat crew talk to UK's Performance expert for Muaythai, Don Heatrick. Don share his unique stories learning and competing in Muaythai and also how he switch careers to the strength & conditioning field to fill the gap in fighters training regiments who work off the training models they see and do in Thailand. Don is all about train your sport first and foremost, while all the other supplemental training should compliment it. However, he thinks we can do that supplemental training better with the help of a bit of field tested sport science to train the right athletic qualities and level up our Muaythai. Loads of training gems in this one from weight cutting, a sample weight training plan and dispelling a few training methods to set you on the right path.
