Nemley is also a loving mother to six, adult children and a proud grandmother of two grandchildren. She was a Sunday school teacher, a children’s church teacher, a women ministry's president, and a prayer group leader. She is a soloist, recording artist, ventriloquist, blogger and praise dancer. She can also add the title, author, to her long list of accomplishments. Rev. Tanya Nemley is the author of the book, Obsessed with God: Exploring Intimacy with God. In this book, Rev. Nemley shares the stories of the many miracles that God has done for her. "I also want those who do know Him to be deeply and intimately in love with Jesus too. I want the unsaved to have a chance at salvation by hearing the good news of Jesus Christ and I’ll do whatever I can to give them an opportunity to do so.
