In this episode, Ross and Bob complete a 2-part series about famous painter Raphael. The "School of Athens" work by Raphael represents the worldview of Plato and that of Aristotle. Aristotle's worldview layer the foundation of a naturalistic worldview. Another words, if it isn't materialistic, it isn't real. Bob examines this worldview yet again in detail. Plato, however, taught that there was something "outside" the material world, and he referenced a spiritual realm. His invisible realm and worldview was a basis for a lot of eastern world views such as Hinduism and New Age movements. Ross and Bob discuss who these two world views have shaped most contemporary world views across the world. WVM is brought to you by Big Brains Media, LLC. Thanks for listening!
