In this episode, Ross and Bob begin a 2-part series about famous painter Raphael, and what he taught us about our various world views. Raphael's painting in the Sistine Chapel is vibrant and breathtaking. In the Vatican Palace, there is a work entitled the "School of Athens". Bob discusses this painting and how Raphael is depicting two world views: The world view of Aristotle and the world view of Plato. Ross and Bob deconstruct this painting and what it means. Just because we know something or think we know something, it doesn't mean that "knowledge" is already correct. Sometimes "knowledge" can be elusive or deceptive, according to Bob. How do we know the meaning of "right" and "wrong"? Is there anything we can learn from history? Our hosts analyze and interpret these issues. WVM is brought to you by Big Brains Media, LLC.
