In this episode, we are joined by Lisa Skinner, a seasoned behavior specialist with over two decades of experience in the senior living industry.

Since 1996, Lisa has dedicated her career to helping thousands of families navigate the complexities of dementia-related illnesses.

Through her work, she has developed programs for dementia-care homes, trained staff on best practices, and equipped families with the tools needed to improve communication with their loved ones.

With a Master’s degree in Psychology and a focus on dementia care, Lisa has become a leader in educating families on how to maintain meaningful and fulfilling relationships with those affected by dementia.

Despite the growing need, Lisa recognized the gap in resources available to families, which led her to write the award-winning and best-selling book, Not All Who Wander Need Be Lost.

Her upcoming book, Truth, Lies, & Alzheimer's - Its Secret Faces, along with a training course and accompanying workbook, further deepens her mission to provide families with essential knowledge and support.

Tune in to hear Lisa’s expert insights on the challenges of dementia care and learn how you can foster better communication and connection with your loved ones.
