Intro & Invocation (0:00-2:35)

Kristal and Kate describe the science of the lunar cycle and its relationship to the sun. They introduce the typical points of the cycle and highlight the dark moon as separate from the new moon and the end and beginning of the lunar cycle. The full moon, then, is the peak of the lunar cycle (2:36-12:08)

Kate shares her moon devotionals, moving through the lunar cycle and the energies associated with each phase. Kristal elaborates on why we move in that cycle and how we align ourselves with those energies. (12:09-18:44)

Next they chat about what they each do during the various phases in order to align their intentions with the moon’s energies. The new moon and waxing toward the full moon is good for setting intentions and taking action. The post full moon waning is good for gentle release and the final quarter waning is good for stronger banishing. (18:45-38:26)

Kristal wraps up the episode with a discussion of each full moon’s designation (the wolf moon, etc.) and what those specific themes are associated with. (38:27-43:28)

Capture Lunar Energy with A Knot Spell
You will need a white cord and 2 pieces of red string
During a full moon, gather your supplies.
Ground and center, entering a meditative state.
Casting a circle and calling in the quarters.
When ready, tie 9 knots into the white cord.
As you tie each knot, speak the following words.

(The words can be modified for any working you want to store the magick for)

“As I bind this knot, so to do I bind the potent power of the full moon”.

Each know should be tied with confidence and intention.
Finish by tying off the each end of the white cord with the red thread.
The cord should be stored in a bag or box, you can add herbs or stones as well.
Each of the 9 knots can be untied at a later time to add power to your magickal workings.
