It’s winter here in North America, and with the winter comes the slew of holidays trying to bring warmth and light into this long, cold night. But, as many of us dread, these celebrations are often turned into political and ideological battlegrounds as dissimilar groups come together to break bread. Thankfully, Sophia is joined this week by Erica Courdae whose superpower (among so, so many) is lifting shame away and having honest and unrestricted conversations. So Erica used that superpower in her conversation with Sophia about how to navigate the many pitfalls of holiday dinners. Together, they named many different strategies that you can try for yourself and stressed that there is no wrong answer when it comes to keeping you safe.
