THINKING outside of the box and EXPERIMENTING EARLY - at first glance that might not really sound like applied sports science, but Steve Tajshian feels its something practitioners should start considering 😁!

Steve Tajshian wants you to do more of your OWN research in your practice with your athletes, instead of just going down the road of “groupthink” and following the bus 🚌. Applying exercise and sports science 🧪 should be the BARE MINIMUM that everyone is doing.

Steve is convinced that looking after the “WHY” of your organization, your athlete group, as well as for each individual in your group is essential to figuring out how to effectively develop a “performance” strategy.

In the 11th episode of The Training Science Podcast, Martin talks with Steve in depth about the “meta”-level of how to design, run and execute a performance (and wellbeing) program in sports, including a quick dive into OPTIMIZING carbohydrate usage (and non-usage!) in football.

Do you want to OPTIMIZE the way you think and execute your INTERVAL TRAINING? EZPZ, we got ya:
