Offshore finfish farming is the mass cultivation of finfish in marine waters, in underwater or floating net pens, pods, and cages. Offshore finfish farms are factory farms that harm public health, the environment, and local communities and economies that rely on the ocean and its resources. Don’t Cage Our Oceans are a coalition of diverse organizations working together to stop the development of offshore finfish farming in the United States through federal law, policies, and coalition building. And, although it is not yet happening, right now the US Administration and Congress are promoting this kind of farming, which would be nothing short of disastrous for the oceans, the planet and the people and animals who live here. dontcageouroceans.org…

Joining Sherry is Lara Heimann, a life long mover and shaker, Physical Therapist, and yoga teacher. Lara also is a believer in the power of women supporting other women. She is the owner of a yoga studio in New Jersey, does teacher trainings, had a her own podcast and has recently launched her new online yoga class platform. Lara was a delight to talk with and she inspires me not only as a yoga teacher but as a woman.

Season 3 coming in HOT! I sat down with Annie and Liz who are pilots of a Black Hawk helicopter that is a water dropper for fighting fires. They are in LA helping with the fires and were involved with getting the fires under control in the Palisades fire. Their story grabs you and gives you insight into the realities of fire fighting from the air. These two are talented, direct and very good at what they do. I am so honored that they chose to join me to share their story. This all came together in the matter of hours and it is a story that I hope you find as inspirational as I do.
