The Judgment of the Nations 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.…
The word gratitude is derived from the Latin word gratia , which means grace, graciousness. In many ways, gratitude encompasses all of these meanings. Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. In the process, people usually recognize that the source of that goodness lies (at least partially) outside themselves. The result of being grateful can also help people connect to something larger than themselves as individuals such as other people, nature, or a higher power.…
Though we all engage in these behaviors on some level, there are 10 painful truths that are likely holding you back. Here's to stepping up, taking action and changing our lives...and then the world.
I think the time has come to break free of everything that society piles on each of us. No matter if you're 25 or 65, you have a life to live and it's time to start thinking about how to make that happen. #EscapeVelocity
It is the fool who always rushes to take sides. Do not commit to any side or cause but yourself. By Maintaining your independence, you become the master
Any small win you think you have gained through argument is a temporary victory: the resentment and ill will you stir up is stronger and lasts longer than any momentary change of opinion. It is much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions, without saying a word.
When you force the other person to act, you are the one in control. It is always better to make your opponent come to you, abandoning his own plans in the process. Lure him with fabulous gains — then attack. You hold the cards.
TGT 48 LOP Law 7: Make Others Do The Work - You Take Credit Use the wisdom and legwork of other people to further your own cause. Not only will such assistance save you valuable time and energy, it will give you a godlike aura of efficiency and speed. In the end your helpers will be forgotten and you will be remembered.…
Everything is judged by its appearance; what is unseen counts for nothing. Never let yourself get lost in the crowd, then, or buried in oblivion. Stand out. Be conspicuous, at all cost. Make yourself a magnet of attention by appearing larger, more colorful, more mysterious than the bland and timid masses.…
Reputation is the cornerstone of power through which you can intimidate and even win; once it slips, however, you are vulnerable. As Sun-Tsu mentions in the Art of War, make your reputation (position) unassailable. Always be alert to potential attacks and thwart them before they happen. Meanwhile, learn to destroy your enemies by seeking or creating vulnerabilities in their own reputations. Then stand aside and let public opinion do what it will.…
When trying to impress with words, the more you say, the more common and out of control you appear. Even if you are saying something meaningless it will seem original if you make it vague, open-ended. Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less. The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish.…
Keep your enemies off-balance by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. If they have no clue what you are up to, they cannot prepare a defense. Guide them far enough down the wrong rabbit hole and dazzle them with enough smoke and mirrors and by the time they realize your intentions, it will be too late.…
Law 2: Never Put Too Much Trust In Friends, Learn How To Use Enemies Be wary of friends as the risk of betrayal is high for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled. Hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.…
Law 1: Never Outshine the Master Make those above you feel superior. Do not brag or showcase your superior talents, or it will make them dislike you. If you prove to be superior, you make them feel insecure, you become a dangerous enemy and they will want to crush you
Living with Ecstatic Happiness: This is a consequence and cannot be made from nothing. You cannot desire a banana and simply create one, you must plant a seed, tend the soil, ensure the environment is favorable and in time, the banana will come. Enjoying Freedom: People are terrified of freedom and seek bondage because they are wedded to comfort which is an investment in the miseries of the past and fears for the future – They're dying on layaway. People are, because of their nature, free. Unlike a lion or fish or dog who can only be those things, people can choose to be almost anything they wish, from moment to moment. Presence and Intent: The way to “create the environment” that will allow you as a soul to reach for that happiness is to be present and work with intent. Fear and anxiety is the power of death. Love, joy and exuberance is life. Your attention and involvement must be with life, no matter what it looks like, because death will come no matter what…
Being patriotic is more than just waving flags and saying pledges, it's taking care of your people and making sure they have the best possible Foundation to live their best lives

Humans are creatures of habit with an insatiable need to see familiarity in other people’s actions. Your predictability gives them a sense of control. Turn the tables: be deliberately unpredictable. Actions that appear to have no consistency or purpose will keep them off-balance.
Too much circulation makes the price go down: the more you are seen and heard from, the more common you appear. If you are already established in a group, temporary withdrawal from it will make you more talked about, even more admired, you must time your exit perfectly.
All great leaders know that a feared enemy must be crushed completely. If one ember is left among the ashes, no matter how dim, a fire will eventually be rekindled. More is lost through stopping halfway than through total annihilation: the enemy will recover, and will seek revenge. Crush him, not only in body but in spirit.…
Knowing about potential rivals is critical. Use spies to gather valuable information that will keep you a step ahead. Better still: play the spy yourself. In polite social encounters, learn to probe. Ask indirect questions to get people to reveal their weaknesses and intentions.
If you need to turn to an ally for help, do not bother to remind him of your past assistance and good deeds. He will find a way to ignore you. Instead, uncover something in your request, or in your alliance with him, that will benefit him, and emphasize it out of all proportion
One sincere and honest move will cover over dozens of dishonest ones. Open-hearted gestures of honesty and generosity bring down the guard of even the most suspicious people. A timely gift, perhaps a Trojan horsem will serve the same purpose.
To maintain your independence you must always be needed and wanted. The more you are relied on, the more freedom you have. Make people depend on you for their happiness and prosperity and you have nothing to fear.
You can die from someone else’s misery — emotional states can be as infectious as viruses. The unfortunate sometimes bring misfortune on themselves; you might also be caught up in their misery. Associate with the happy and fortunate instead.
This is the first of five episodes of Three Good Things that provides an exercise for you to do that will help get you on the path to self improvement.
