In this episode we are humbled and honored to feature Gold Star Father Mr. Mark Schmitz. Mr. Schmitz's son Marine LCpl Jared Schmitz was sacrificed by the US Government on 26 August 2021 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Jared was just 20 years old. We thank Mr. Schmitz for his willingness to discuss the deepest wound that any human being could ever experience. The courage, determination and strength of Mr. Schmitz is truly inspiring, and I hope we can all walk beside him in this difficult journey.
