I met Kila Gonzales over the phone a few years ago as she was starting up her nonprofit. She was my answer to a prayer. She runs a non profit called I Will Carry You: Birth and Bereavement Doula Services. Her nonprofit serves the families who have received a terminal diagnosis and families whose babies will be born still. Kila has an amazing story about her own loss and like the go getter she is, she refused to sit around on the sidelines. She is a nurse and naturally has a servants heart so serving those who grieves came naturally. After the Lord put this dream in her heart she didn't wait long before starting and serving mothers and families who will endure one of the worst experiences of their lives. She and her nonprofit has been a light to so many families who have and will endure loss. We had an amazing conversation.
