Almost half of the U.S. population is deficient in Vitamin D. This could be caused for various reasons such as pollution, use of sunscreen or even just spending large portions of time indoors. It is important to get plenty of sunlight and to periodically measure your Vitamin D levels.
Vitamin D helps with lots of things such as fighting disease. It may reduce the risk of Multiple Sclerosis. It decreases the chance of high blood pressure and heart disease. It reduces the likelihood of illnesses.
During Covid, taking vitamin D at higher levels helped people get through it. Vitamin D supports immune health. It may regulate your mood while reducing depression and it may help support weight loss.
