Recently the Health Sciences at Salt Lake Community College have shifted their focus in their selective admissions to a more holistic approach. What does this mean? What does this change? And, how does this impact prospective students for eight of the nine programs in the School of Health Sciences?

The School of Health Sciences at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is committed to providing quality education in nursing and allied health fields, ensuring each graduate is ready to enter the healthcare profession. Experienced and clinically prepared faculty, along with hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, allow students to become skilled in the science of healing and the art of compassion and ready to serve their community.
The School of Health Sciences is housed on the Jordan Campus of SLCC and offers the following programs:
- Community Health and Leadership
- Dental Hygiene
- Respiratory Therapy
- Surgical Technology
- Mortuary Science
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Radiologic Technology
- Nursing
