After only three years in America as an immigrant from Nigeria, Ugochi Iwuaba was fired from her job while pregnant with her third child who had just been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, Ugochi chose to rise up and pursue her dream of being a fashion designer. She registered her company one month after giving birth and started her luxury fashion business with zero dollars.
Today, Ugochi Iwuaba is making headlines, she has doubled her business within the past year, and one of her designs was even worn on this year's Met Gala red carpet.
