In this episode, we sit down with Michelle Holleman, Owner & Clinical Director of Life Healing Counseling, and one of our esteemed clinical partners. Michelle is an experienced Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), Certified Multi-Addiction Therapist in Tech/Internet and Gaming (CMAT), and is trained in EMDR therapy.
Michelle specializes in treating sex/pornography addictions, betrayed partners, tech/internet/gaming addictions, chemical addictions, trauma, and enmeshed relationships. Through her trauma-focused approach, Michelle helps individuals, couples, and families navigate the complex emotional and relational challenges tied to addiction and betrayal. Her practice also serves the LGBTQIA+ community and is an affirming, anti-racist, and multi-culturally-focused space that respects and honors all pronouns and identities.
During our conversation, we dive into Michelle’s therapeutic methods, the importance of support in addiction recovery, and how she integrates individual, couple, and group therapy to foster healing. Whether you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, this episode offers valuable insights into finding hope and healing.
